I have had this espresso maker for at least 2 years and I really like it! I usually make about 3-4 drinks/day or about 12-16oz of espresso. The only issue that I have had with this machine is when I don't realize the giant water tank has gone empty the pump runs dry. More of a user error than anything else b/c the water level is easy to see, sometimes I just forget to check it. It takes a bit of time to get it to start pulling water again; but if you keep an eye on the level it's not an issue. You do need to pull the plastic frother part off each time you use it and just run it under water and pop it back on, watch your fingers b/c, as expected, it is pretty hot. The stainless is great, not the painted to look like stainless like I've gotten in other small appliances, but the good stuff. I have recommended this to many of my friends and I continue to do so.

I have owned this machine for over a year and a half and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever with it. I normally do not write reviews but thought I should comment so people knew what they were getting. First, the frother tip is plastic, yes that means you have to clean it. It's very easy, run it under hot water and its clean. Second, this is an appliance and yes it will use power. If you blow a fuse in your use, it's not the machine's fault. Third, I use this everyday, sometimes twice a day, and absolutely love it. Its perfect for daily use and my wife and I have already bought a second one for our weekend home.

Works great for a year, but the frother has a plastic tip, and after cleaning it, it does not work. I do not recommend if you want a machine that lasts.There are less expensive machines that will last longer.
